Its subsidiaries include Ahden Engineering (Aust) Pty Ltd, Bulimba Transations Pty Ltd, Riverdev Pty Ltd, Watdev2 Pty Ltd and Watdev Anchorage Residential Pty Limited. On July 1, 2008, the Company acquired 100% interest in JMS Civil and Mining Pty Ltd.
In recent years, Watpac’s strategy of growth through strategic acquisitions has seen the Company expand into New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory, and add civil infrastructure, civil landscaping, and mining services to its portfolio. Now with over 900 staff based on sites and in offices around Australia, and an annual turnover approaching $1.5 billion, Watpac can truly be considered an Australian business success story.
