Each day brought a new challenge. Working with different websites, databases, sales reps, cath lab staff and physicians. Busy workplace with interesting and fun people to work with. I enjoyed working with people from all over the world.

Management here is absolutely horrible!! They show way too much favortism and the vast majority of management is new and know next to nothing at all! So its the blind leading the blind!!! The director in San Antonio dresses very scantily clad, but yet wants to enforce dress code. They play favorites way too much and never enforce the rules! Medtronic makes a great product, they help diabetic living a normal healthy life. Processing the paper work for a patient to get approved for an insulin pump is like delivering a Christmas or Birthday to some. The job is rewarding when you hear the appreciation in the patient’s voice when they say thank you.

Excellent place to work. Moved up in the company to many different positions.Management was good and it was a difficult job to leave.

A lot of promises are made, but rarely are they kept. Expect to kept in the dark by many of the decisions made by upper management, and don't expect to climb the corporate ladder quickly. The company uses their employees like pawns, and many are made to feel expendable. In many cases, the quality talent goes elsewhere. It was an experince working for a large company. Really did not learn much from them.

A typical day at Medtronic involved getting projects from my supervisors and working with engineers to design and develop new circuitry. The most enjoyable part of the job was the daily challenges and problem solving. The hardest part of the job was often gathering the information from varied departments that I required for projects.

Things were great until the fourth quarter when the numbers didn't match what was expected.
