Their people are their greatest resource.
Assistant Property Manager (Former Employee), Charlottesville, VA –
Pros: their very knowledgeable people
Cons: i can't think of any.
I enjoyed working with the people at Jones Lang LaSalle. I worked with the best team of people that I have ever been with in Project Development Services with Jones Lang LaSalle for over 5 years. My maintenance technicians were a highly skilled dedicated group.

Inexperienced management
Engineer (Former Employee), Santa Clara, California –
Pros: you'd have a job
Cons: you'd be working for jones lang lasalle
No thought was put into the account setup and the actual scope of work. The client dictates whatever they feel like from day to day and will not allow for expanding staff to meet goals and objectives. I worked close to 80 hours a week and was being reprimanded for not getting all my work completed. None of my staff had the skills to back me up and I – more...  was on call 365 days a year. Everybody has a sour attitude towards the company and are grossly underpaid. I wouldn't work for these jokers ever again. – less

Seems to have their eye on the prize, but they need to consolidate some of their processes, to many meetings for the same thing.
Mid-Atlantic Region Facilities Manager (Current Employee), Glen Allen, Va 23059 –
Pros: too many meetings, inconsistency in process, too many processes for the same thing.
Cons: good salary, the management seem to care about the staff, at each location.
I have been with this firm on the Wells Fargo account since December of this year. It was a contract take over, and I was with the incumbent company. It was a rocky start, but we have smoothed out some, but still some hurdles to overcome. My team is still the same team that I had in the past, with some exceptions. We are determined to make our group – more...  sucessful. – less

Productive and fun work place
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee), McLean, VA –
Pros: friendly atomosphere
First thing in the morning I report to the management office, grab my radio and begin to work on projects assigned to me or take care of service request if one was sent to me. I learned more about electricity and how to work with it, also I gained experience in plumbing and some in HVAC. My co-workers were good people to work with and to be around. – more...  They would help me out when i needed it and i also would help them out too. There was nothing hard about the job because i really enjoyed working on different jobs everyday and i got to learn new skills. The most enjoyable part was that i did not have someone always around me or with me telling me what to do. – less

Great company with really bad local management
Mobile Chiller Mechanic (Former Employee), Fort Lauderdale, FL –
Pros: great benefits, great bunch of guys to work with.
Cons: management who stuck it to us to save their jobs.
Serviced and maintained chillers for AT&T.
Under staffed and underfunded, maintainence on critical systems had been deferred for years and management blamed the crew and let the chiller techs go.
The engineer from AT&T who coordinates the work with JLL is a total nutcase and has absolutely no people skills. Sits in a dark office all day tinkering with – more...  his programs on his computer. They are trying to get run down, in many cases, obsolete equipment to preform like it is new. Some of the equipment is so bad that it is beyond repair. The salt air has destroyed a lot of the equipment but AT&T still insists that it can be made to operate as if it is new.
The worst thing was when management, to save their jobs, blamed the chiller tech crew for all the problems instead of themselves for understaffing and not hiring seasoned veteran help. – less

Great Firm
Associate of Transaction Advisory Services (Current Employee), Chicago, IL –
Pros: flex time, great benefits, highly educated and capable support staff
Cons: unstable at the moment
Jones is a great firm to work for. However, in this economy they have had to do several lay-offs, and unfortunally, I was one of the unlucky ones. They are great about giving you proper notice and delivering an acceptable severance. If I could have stayed here...I would have.

JLL was a (overall) a good experience
LEAD MOBILE TECH over team in East Orlando (Former Employee), Orlando, Fl –
Pros: good pay scale
Cons: perhaps less micro-managing
JLL was (overall) a good experience. I worked on the AT&T account. This was a new account and we had massive turn over. In a few years, things will settle down.

SUN OUTSOURCED OFFICE MANAGER (Former Employee), Stamford, CT 06606 –
Pros: excellent learning tools on line
Cons: the package offered at the end was not beneficial, when the employees were laid-off.
Learned a lot at this assignment. Also, was able to further my education with tuition reimbursement. Although, the company did not fight hard enough for their employees, during the acquition. I felt we were sent up the river without a paddle.
